About
Original Character: Nagisa
I had been wanting to create my own character for a long time, even though I had been making fanarts for a long time. I decided that my first character should be a self-insert, and while she may not resemble me physically, she must embody everything I think about and ever aspire to be.
I consider myself most aligned with the element of water. My moods and temperament have always been like water - calm on the surface, concealing a profound depth underneath, abounding with both exquisite beauty and eldritch horrors.
The name "Nagisa" means "a calm beach or seashore".
I also wanted to try my hand at rendering underwater lighting - the multiple reflections and added softness, while still preserving a level of detail, presented me with a unique artistic challenge. I have never worked with such a limited palette before and this was a great way of challenging myself a little further.
About
Original Character: Cyberpunk
This is a character I created who exists in a futuristic, technologically advanced world. She originally lost one of her arms and a leg due to conflict in her world, and was resurrected and rebuilt as a mechanical angel and is indebted to the person that rebuilt her. She is built to fight and can change into a large mechanised robot.
